AC Hotel South San Francisco
San Francisco, CA
The AC Hotel is a 6 story Marriott property located in South San Francisco’s Oyster Point. The project entailed a Design Build Gamewell FCI Fire Alarm System with System Sensor Notification Appliances. The system design follows the current California Code requirements along with Marriott’s Module 14 for Fire Protection and Life Safety.
B Street Center for Theater Arts
Sacramento, CA
Sacramento Theater District is adding an amazing facility, The B Street Theater. SBS aided in the Design Build Fire Alarm System for this facility. The Fire Alarm System will include a Gamewell FCI E3 Fire Alarm System with Voice Evacuation and System Sensor Notification Appliances. The system design included Multi Criteria detectors to prevent false alarms in the stage areas during performances.
UCD Manetti Shrem Museum of Art
Davis, CA
SBS has completed many successful projects at UC Davis and the Manetti Shrem Museum of Art is a prime example. SBS designed and integrated multiple systems on this project including; Fire alarm, Intrusion, Access Control, and CCTV.
The Fire Alarm is a Design-Build System that had to meet the fire protection goals of Property Protection & Life Safety. The special requirements called for a Silent Knight Fire Alarm System with System Sensor Notification Appliances for Voice Evacuation. The Fire Alarm System also incorporated a Double Interlocking Pre-Action System and a FAAST aspirating smoke detection system that can be used for very early detection when the stakes are at their highest.
The Intrusion (featuring Elk and Bosch equipment) and Millennium Access Control Systems work in unison to create a comprehensive solution that’s is smart, intuitive, and most importantly easy to use.
The CCTV system used to monitor and protect the building is made up of industry-leading Axis Cameras and NUUO Network Video Recorder.
UCD Tercerco Student Housing
Davis, CA
Tercero Student Housing added housing for an additional 495 UCD students. This project encompassed (3) Four Story buildings on the Campus of UC Davis in which SBS provided a comprehensive Silent Knight Fire Alarm solution. Campus residences can be loud and chaotic at times and the necessity for a fire alarm system to work efficiently and effectively is very important. SBS understands what is at stake and that is why we take the pride we do in all our installations.
